When the Adrestia R&D team packed our bags for the Beyond Expo 2026 at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens, we honestly didn’t know exactly what to expect. It was our first-ever exhibition. What we found, however, was something we couldn’t have scripted: an incredibly vibrant tech community and a market that is more than ready for genuine, homegrown innovation. Hosted at the Region of Crete Pavilion (Hall 3), our goal was simple: to show the tech world how we are bridging the gap between cutting-edge European research and practical, market-ready solutions. Three days, hundreds of deep conversations, and countless live demos later, the takeaway is clear—the Adrestia philosophy resonates. The Adrestia Difference: 100% In-House, Zero White-Labeling What stood out most during our time at Beyond Expo was the genuine, eager interest from companies looking for automation and security solutions that actually respect their infrastructure. In a market saturated with resellers and repackaged software, our message struck a chord: We do not do white-labeling. Everything we presented—built entirely by our dedicated team in Heraklion, Crete—is our own architecture. This means no third-party dependencies, bespoke adaptability, and a guarantee that your data never leaves your environment. Our visitors felt that difference immediately when we showcased our flagship commercial solutions: Paving the Future: Our EU Horizon Projects At Adrestia, our commercial products are fueled by our active involvement in high-level European research. Beyond Expo gave us a massive stage to share our ongoing contributions to the Horizon Europe ecosystem. We were incredibly proud to discuss our work on three major initiatives driving real-world impact: Looking Ahead The footfall at our booth, the challenging questions, and the visitors who assumed we were a much larger enterprise told us something vital: we have built something truly worth showing. To everyone—tech enthusiasts, telecommunications experts, industry leaders, and potential partners—who stopped by our booth to explore the intersection of cybersecurity, RPA, and future networks with us: Thank you. You challenged us to think bigger and validated the hard work happening behind the scenes in Crete. This was our first exhibition, but it certainly won’t be our last. The best is ahead.

On March 9th, Adrestia R&D executed the first TRUSTEE Workshop at the Institute of Space Science in Magurele, Romania. The event was a great success, bringing together representatives from five different EU-funded projects! During the first session, TRUSTEE presented its personas and requirements, followed by TEADAL and TANGO, who presented their own requirements. The workshop also featured an overview of the GLASS and AUTOFAIR projects. In the second half of the workshop, participants were divided into three working groups to discuss Secondary Use and Legal and ethical considerations. These discussions were lively, with representatives from various domains and technical and non-technical participants sharing their perspectives and concerns. The Workshop was an excellent opportunity for exchanging knowledge with other European Projects and stakeholders. The event fostered dialogues and collaboration among participants, enabling them to gain new insights and perspectives on the topics discussed.
