When the Adrestia R&D team packed our bags for the Beyond Expo 2026 at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens, we honestly didn’t know exactly what to expect. It was our first-ever exhibition. What we found, however, was something we couldn’t have scripted: an incredibly vibrant tech community and a market that is more than ready for genuine, homegrown innovation.
Hosted at the Region of Crete Pavilion (Hall 3), our goal was simple: to show the tech world how we are bridging the gap between cutting-edge European research and practical, market-ready solutions.
Three days, hundreds of deep conversations, and countless live demos later, the takeaway is clear—the Adrestia philosophy resonates.
The Adrestia Difference: 100% In-House, Zero White-Labeling
What stood out most during our time at Beyond Expo was the genuine, eager interest from companies looking for automation and security solutions that actually respect their infrastructure.
In a market saturated with resellers and repackaged software, our message struck a chord: We do not do white-labeling. Everything we presented—built entirely by our dedicated team in Heraklion, Crete—is our own architecture. This means no third-party dependencies, bespoke adaptability, and a guarantee that your data never leaves your environment.
Our visitors felt that difference immediately when we showcased our flagship commercial solutions:
- Aegis: Our proprietary cybersecurity and vulnerability scanning platform. During the expo, we had the opportunity to present live how Aegis helps organizations seamlessly align with the strict NIS2 compliance directive, designed specifically with the needs of local organizations in mind.
- TALOS: Our advanced Robotic Process Automation (RPA) suite. Instead of forcing businesses to adapt to rigid software, TALOS is built around the client’s workflow. We demonstrated its ability to untangle daily bureaucracy by integrating flawlessly with Greek systems like MyDATA, ERGANI, and Epsilon Net.
Paving the Future: Our EU Horizon Projects
At Adrestia, our commercial products are fueled by our active involvement in high-level European research. Beyond Expo gave us a massive stage to share our ongoing contributions to the Horizon Europe ecosystem.
We were incredibly proud to discuss our work on three major initiatives driving real-world impact:
- SNS iTrust6G: Paving the way for a secure 6G future by ensuring trust, privacy, and robust security architecture in next-generation networks.
- AGRARIAN: Transforming European agriculture through “Farming on the Edge,” bringing edge computing and sustainable tech directly to rural environments.
- CSS BOOST: Championing the Circular Cities & Regions Initiative by developing sustainable technologies that drive real environmental impact.
Looking Ahead
The footfall at our booth, the challenging questions, and the visitors who assumed we were a much larger enterprise told us something vital: we have built something truly worth showing.
